Ready to GO!

Hi everyone!

Thought I'd start our first entry the night before we take off to China since I'm so darn excited that I don't know if I can sleep. I'll just have to sleep on the plane :)

We just finished packing our stuff and have to admit that it was such a challenge because there were many things that we "needed" to bring like over-the-counter meds, prescription meds, toilet paper, sunscreen, travel books, language books, day pack and yes my big ass SLR camera and lens and all the chords and cables that came with it. Unfortunately, I can't take my camera bag in order to fit it in my carry-on so I know it can get damaged and something I'm willing to deal with.

Check out how big our bags are! (I know...everything is always big on me and this is like humungo on me that if I turned around and you were walking behind me, you would see a big backpack with legs!)
