Eating... Shopping... Eating... Shopping... Shopping

eva again. it is wednesday night here in hong kong... two more days in hong kong until our departure back to the prairies. would definitely be lying if i said i wasn't looking foward to going home... people there i definitely miss!... people there that could never be replicated!!... the stay in hong kong so far is awesome!... alex has been a fantastic host!!... any weight i might have lost in the mainland - i definitely have gained back!... the food here is orgasmic!... seriously!!... we went to this japanese restaurant the other night called arashigawa - yakitori style of japanese food... and holy fack delicious is all i have to say!... even came out of my comfort zone and had some cow's tongue, goose liver, chicken liver and chicken knuckles... holy moly was it ever good!...

again i can't wait to see you all... okay, maybe not all of you - just the ones that matter =)... eva.

LOL Orgasmic food! Oh ya baby! The food here, as Eva mentioned, is sooo good here. So good in fact that I forget to drink and now I am constipated. No kidding! So opposite to what Eva had earlier so we stopped by a grocery store today to get me some prune juice! lol Yes, I'm laughing my head off as I write this. Can't believe I'm telling the world that I am constipated! Oh and we also got this juice called Ju-C and man alive, it's so good! It would definately give bubble tea a run for its money if we open one in Edmonton (hint, hint Wilmer!). It has water, milk, sago, coconut juice, orange, and pomelo in it. Frigin frackin good! Will also give me some needed fibre ;) lol

What else, we did like a lot of shopping since we got here. Actually just eating and shopping and as eva said, alex has been such a good host! He has taken us eating and shopping (Eww...eva just gave a frigin huge burp...so ungirly of her! lol)...the guy has patience. Shopping with girls takes patience man esp with me being so undecided at times. But lots of good stuff here for us petite people. No shoes yet. You'd think I would find some small shoes without bows...nope...they have bows and sparklies...and we're not talking bout kids shoes here lol

We also got some bakery. OMG...the bakery stuff is so good here. Some unique stuff not like the same stuff you see in Edmonton. We went by a Japanese bakery today for supper snacking and got like custard, pizza, mango and cranberry steam cakes, etc. So full :) Me happy. And yes, I'm drinking my prune juice :)

HK has been good to us. It's nice to relax and not sight see as much. The MTR here is awesome! Comparable to the Metro in Montreal. Both are killer transportation. Wish Edmonton had it. Would use it often if it did. But despite all the good eating and shopping, I really do miss home and everyone in it and can't wait to get back to see all of you guys again!

Until Sat... Lots of love

Lisa
