Still Surviving!

hey all again! eva again.

we are a couple days behind in our entries... this city has definitely been keeping us hopping that is for sure! yesterday we ventured out to the forbidden city, tiananmen square and the temple of heaven. we also made a very quick stop to the pearl market - where you will seriously find anything you desire!!... except for food!!! but not to worry cause we eventually plotted ourselves down at the kfc restaurant for a bite - being the little piggies we are, we ordered an entire family meal for Y64 which tranlates to less than about $12CDN!... today lisa and i took a tour to the great wall of china - where i believe i sprained my freakin' ankle coming down the steep steep slopes... currently i am icing it as we speak...

right now, lisa and i are in the process of finding a travel agency which will issue us a tibet permit!!... they make it so effin' difficult down here to obtain one!... and it is not just our inproficiency in the language - we met a traveller by the name of alien during our great wall tour who is totally proficient in mandarin that is also having great difficulties in obtaining a permit... anyway, i'll leave you all off with lisa now.
